About the Authors
Dr. Lynn McCutcheon has authored or co-authored more than 100 research articles in a variety of professional journals, including Personality and Individual Differences, and the Journal of Personality Assessment. The focal point of many of his publications has been the measurement of attitudes and personality traits. His work on the personality traits of celebrity worshippers has attracted considerable attention. He has taught Psychological Tests and Measurements on both the graduate and undergraduate level, and he is the editor of the North American Journal of Psychology.
Howard B. Lee is professor of psychology at California State University, Northridge. He holds a Ph.D. in psychometrics and measurement from UCLA.. Professor Lee studied under Dr. Andrew L. Comrey, and has co-authored 4 books with Professor Comrey. Other noted scholars that Dr. Lee studied with were Dr. James B. MacQueen, a pioneer in k-means cluster analysis, and James E. Bruno, the creator of Information Reference Testing. Professor Lee is on the Advisory Editorial Board of the North American Journal of Psychology, and has authored several articles relating to psychological tests and measurements.
Dr. Maria Wong is an Associate Professor at Idaho State University’s Department of Psychology. Her research examines the factors that affect substance use/ abuse, academic performance and resilience (i.e., the ability to do well in spite of adversity) in children and adolescence. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in developmental psychology, testing and measurement, research methods and statistics.
John A. Calicchia, Ph.D., is an associate professor and Graduate Program Coordinator in the Department of Psychology at Bridgewater State College. His teaching, research and clinical practice have focused mainly on children and adolescence. Dr. Calicchia is a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Massachusetts and formerly served as a Child & Adolescent Psychologist at McLean Hospital & Harvard Medical School.
